Behind Blen’s Time is watchmaker Javier Blen, whose relationship with the craft began when he was only 10 years old in Nicaragua. What began as a childhood job quickly became a fascination with how movements function and how precision can be restored by hand.

While still young, Javier began operating his own shop in Nicaragua. Today, more than 35 years of hands-on experience lives on through Blen’s Time in Houston — and every piece that comes to his bench still receives personal attention.
